The best thing about this crazy job is the way the different projects begin to bleed into each other, creating unexpected connections and wild combinations of pattern and color that I could never have set out to create on purpose. This year's collection features endemic sea life of Florida in Javanese masks, surrealistic horse odalisques, native flora & fauna of the PNW. Across the collection is a sensibility, very much influenced by my time among traditional textiles at Cargo, of layered, hand-drawn pattern, and my joy in mixing all of my influences together.
